Crystal Palace Walks

The Great Exhibition
The Exhibition was held in Hyde Park in 1851 inside the Crystal Palace. With the profits most of South Kensington was built. This walk takes you onto the site of the Exhibition and through the museum and arts complex which was the brainchild of Prince Albert and named after him (Albertopolis). 

Crystal Palace (Upper Park)
The Crystal Palace was built to house the Great Exhibition (1851). After the Exhibition, the building was rebuilt in  Sydenham in South London where it became the centrepiece of a Victorian Theme Park until it was lost in the 1936 Fire. 
This walk covers the site of the building, 6 sphinxes, the aquarium and much more.

Crystal Palace (Lower Park)
The Park at Crystal Palace was laid out with fountains, a Geological Exhibit, a Maze. It has also been used for various sports including football, cricket, archery etc.  

This walk takes around the lower part of Crystal Palace park to view the dinosaurs, the cricket pitch and much more.
