“From Nell Gwyn to Willy Wonka” (A history of Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) – The Theatre Royal is the oldest theatre in the West End. In its nearly 400-year history there have been 4 buildings, several managers and some of the best actors of their era. This talk covers the story of the theatre, the characters and the shows from 1662 to the present.  

“The House that Stoll built” (The London Coliseum) – Oswald Stoll commissioned the renowned theatre architect Frank Matcham to build a grand Variety theatre in central London. Stoll ran the theatre for over 40 years. Since then it has been a venue for musicals, a cinema and now the home of the English National Opera. This talk covers the story of the Coliseum from 1904 to the present day.
